First Look at 1.6

Version 1.6 is up and running here at WikyBlog.com. It hasn't been released yet but should be out tomorrow morning. The new version has been tested on a number of different servers using all the major web browsers and everything seems to be running smooth. Upgrading WikyBlog.com is the final test before release and I encourage everyone to try out the new attachment functions (for .gif, .png, .pdf etc).

Before, uploading was limited to account owners but with the new attachment functions, uploading is available (by default) to anyone. Access can be restricted to specific groups of users similarly to other file types. So if you'd like to try out the upload, you can start by editing this file and clicking on the "Embed Image" icon in the toolbar (right next to the simley faces & javascript is required).
