WikyBlog's maps were developed early on when some features of the Google Maps API were unavailable and still under development. Now that Google's API is more mature, we'd like to take advantage of the newer features and improve upon the features already implemented.

Aspects of Task

• The interface needs to be more intuitive, we'd like to get rid of the editing toolbar all together and put the controls on the map
  • Buttons for adding a marker, and route should just be on the map.
  • Editing of text should be done within the popup
  • Ability to modify routes
• Need to add geocoding
• More configurable options for the maps

  polyline color, width, transparency

• The final product should be compatible with the major web browsers
