If you are interested in using WikyBlog as a personal blogging application, but aren't ready to take on the disadvantages of open collaboration, just make the following changes to your Preferences:

1. From your Control Panel, select "Default Page Options". You'll be shown a group of buttons representing the different available file types.
2. Click on the "Pages" button and the Options form will load.
3. To keep anyone but yourself from editing your pages, select the "Locked" option and then click Save.

Then, repeat steps 2 and 3 for other file types as desired.
