Each user account can be used as a blog, wiki or a hybrid. Using your account as a blog allows you to post articles in a reverse chronological order to your home page.

There are a number of preference settings that control how your blog will display. See your Control Panel > Preferences for more information.

Blog Styled Frontpage

Determines whether or not the blog feature is enabled.

Blog Type:

Choose from the available data types for the type of file to be used for your blog. Default values are Page or Comment.

Blog Count:

Determines the number of entries to show on your home page.

Selective Blogging:

When On, only the files you select to blog will be shown on your homepage. When Off all files of Blog Type, including files created by anonymous users, will be shown. Defaults to On.

Update Services

When Selective Blogging is On, you may supply a list of update services to be notified each time your blog changes.

Wiki Syntax

You can use the {{BLOG}} syntax to include the contents of your blog in other files throughout your bliki.
